In 2014, a British nanotech company created what was then the “world’s blackest black.” It was a titled that lasted for a while, until recently the same researchers created and even blacker black.
And today, we’re here to say we found an even newer blackest black — if badassery was a substantial unit of scientific measurement. Call it the baddest black.
It’s in form of Timeless Kustom’s fully restored, blacked-out 1969 Chevrolet Camaro, first purchased by retired MLB pitcher Brad Penny before it ended up in the hands of gearhead Mike Cavanah.
The Chevy Camaro really needs no introduction. It’s easily on the most recognized muscle cars in American automotive history.
The custom shop outfitted the Camaro with a Chevy LSX small block engine fed by a pair of turbos paired with a six-speed transmission from American Powertrain. To further improve the 750-HP muscle car, Timeless installed the car’s shell on a new Max G chassis and installed a C6 Corvette front and solid-axle rear suspension.
