For the past 40 years, Germany-based auto-tuner Brabus has been attempting to perfect perfection by performing after-market refinements on top Mercedes-Benz models like this one.
That’s why it’s hardly noteworthy that they looked at the standard Mercedes G500 4×42 and thought, “we can do better.” What they did to it though — that’s worth spilling some ink over.
As powerful as it is handsome, the Brabus take on the Mercedes G500 4×42 is an off-road-ready SUV with a bit more oomph than the factory model thanks to more than 100 extra HP (550 total).
The Brabus Adventure’s V8 can blast the custom beast from 0-60 in only 6.7 seconds and tops out at 130 MPH, though it could probably destroy that mark if it weren’t limited electronically.
With a leather and alcantara interior that matches the exterior’s slate gray paint job, Brabus added accessories like a winch, bumper and grille guards, remote-controlled LED searchlights, a roof rack with a LED light bar and a stainless steel exhaust with four side-mounted tailpipes.
You can’t purchase it yet, and Brabus hasn’t even disclosed its price, but you can at least drink it in below:
