The building itself might be situated in Sunny Isles Beach, Florida, but the highlight of penthouse life in Residences by Armani/Casa might well be the views you get after dark, especially in Penthouse 1. The apartment — found in Giorgio Armani’s first foray into residential buildings in the U.S. — is located on the 55th and 56th floors, and totals 6,138-square-feet of living space.
It also could be yours, as Penthouse 1 is currently on the market for $17 million.
Residences by Armani/Casa is one of several high-end apartment buildings in or on the way in Sunny Isles Beach, including a recently-announced luxury building from Bentley. Luxury living and beach renourishment might make for an unlikely pairing, but for aficionados of elegant architecture and interior design, there’s plenty to savor here. In this case, the building itself was designed by the late César Pelli’s firm Pelli Clarke Pelli.
In the penthouse apartment, visitors will find five bedrooms and seven bathrooms, with Armani/Casa providing the furniture and fixtures. The rooftop space may well be the apex of the whole experience, featuring a private pool and views of both the ocean and the bay. Certainly, it’s an upside to living in that part of Miami; those views likely explain why this region has become such a magnet for builders as well.
