The amount of space you need in a camper is directly proportional to how long you plan on living on the road.

Going some place for a long weekend? A teardrop trailer will suffice.

Going some place for five days? The Bowlus Road Chief is a stylish option.

Anything more than that and you need the updated Airstream Classic, a 33-footer with a queen bed in the back and the sort of high-level finishes that will make you feel right at home no matter where you are.

The Classic comes on the heels of the discontinuation of the Land Yacht, a 28-foot model that was formerly Airstream’s biggest. Inside: room to sleep up to five, plush leather seating, an apartment-sized kitchen and “marine-grade” flooring. There’s even a projector screen for movie nights, automated shades for privacy and finishes in the bathroom and galley on par with what you’d find in a nice home.

You are now free to move about the country.
