Each week, our inbox runneth over with news of gear, apparel and tech releases from around the world. In this feature, we’ll parse through the best of them. Today: a handsome Billy Reid x Huckberry hunting jacket, a mini version of Five Two’s famous saucepan and cozy quilted GREATS slippers.

Reserve Bar

Heaven’s Door The Bootleg Series II

Bob Dylan’s American whiskey brand releases a second limited-edition batch; this one features a cask strength 15 year-old Straight Bourbon finished in 30 year-old Jamaican Pot Still Rum Casks, and arrives in a handmade ceramic bottle featuring Bob Dylan’s painting, Sunset, Monument Valley. Plus, it’s all housed in an individually numbered leather journal.

GREATS

GREATS Foster Slipper

Never ones to rest on their footwear laurels, GREATS just added this handsome slipper to their offering — a cozy quilted nylon upper (made from recycled fishing nets and carpet, yay earth!) with a cushy leather-wrapped footbed and a durable rubber outsole that makes them as good for running the quick errand as they are for chilling around the house.

Crossrope

Crossrope

The last several months have found us exploring pretty much every way one can workout at home, and of those, jumping rope is a favorite among IH staffers — quick, easy and burns a staggering number of calories. We’ve been particularly enamored of these durable braided steel ropes of varying weights that are easily interchangeable via a patented “fast clip” system for mixing up your workout, and the high-performance handles (see: ball bearings inside) that keep ’em spinning like a dream. Plus a bevy of free workouts via the Crossrope app that cater to everyone from the rope novice to the seasoned veteran.

Huckberry

Huckberry x Timex “Cola” Sport Watch

Been in the market for a red-and-black bezel? Timex and Huckberry have a watch for you. With the new limited-edition “Cola” Sport Watch, the second time the brands are getting together, it’s a whole different story. Despite the shop saying it was “designed from a blank canvas,” the watch is more accurately a reworking of the Q Timex — a refreshed ‘70s watch we’ve been wearing for some time — but with some choice upgrades.

Everlane

Everlane The Wool Five-Panel Cap

Crafted from durable, textured wool, Everlane’s Wool Five-Panel Cap is designed specifically for cold weather, so it’ll provide warmth on top of all that style. Plus, the heavier fabric and brushed metal hardware means you won’t have to worry about a gust of wind knocking it off your noggin. So go ahead and give the beanies a rest.

Nike

Drake x Nike “Certified Loverboy”

After dropping numerous hints on Instagram, Drake’s collaboration with Nike has finally arrived. The Certified Lover Boy merch precedes the rapper’s album of the same name, set to be released in January 2021. As the name would suggest, the collaboration includes “love” motifs throughout, from a white baseball cap featuring a lipstick-print to a pink quilted heart puffer jacket, arguably the standout piece of the collection. Whether you’re a fan of Drizzy or just love love, snag some merch and consider yourself a Certified Lover Boy.

Burrow

Burrow Range Collection

Similar to the DTC brand’s award-winning Nomad collection, Burrow’s new sofa system — the Range Collection — is an entirely modular seating collection boasting contemporary, Scandinavian-influenced design and ultra-plush comfort. The new collection of sofas, sectionals, love seats and more allow you to easily attach tables and ottomans, so you can flexibly customize your space however you want.

Matheson

Matheson Cookware Cast Iron Pan

Matty Matheson, the Canadian chef that’s built a career on his DIY mentality, has now expanded that ethos into his own line of cookware. It’s called, naturally, Matheson Cookware, and the first release is a 10-inch cast iron pan that keeps the timeless design intact, but adds a few choice upgrades: a longer handle and an extended lip for easier basting. The first limited run of 500 pans is sold out, but they’re taking preorders for 2021.

Huckberry

Billy Reid x Huckberry Hunting Jacket

Billy Reid has partnered with Huckberry to create this exclusive Hunting Jacket, the perfect piece of outerwear for fall. Heavily inspired by traditional hunting jackets (like the kind you might see a British royal wear while shooting game in the English countryside) the jacket is made from a waxed cotton from the Scottish fabric makers Halley Stevensons. The jacket is outfitted with a luxurious faux-fur lining and a contrasting fabric collar, allowing for both functionality and style.

Patagonia

Patagonia Wild Idea Work Boots

Staying true to its sustainable, planet-saving mission, Patagonia made a long-lasting work boot built from buffalo hides sourced from Wild Idea ranch in South Dakota — the same ranch the brand sources its meat to make beef jerky for its food initiative, Patagonia Provisions. The durable buffalo leather boot is breathable, moisture-wicking and clearly very handsome. But with only 1,000 pairs being produced, if you’re interested in coping perhaps the most sustainable boot you’ll ever own, best to do it now.

Food52

Five Two 1.5 Quart Essential Saucepan

Food52’s in-house brand Five Two just launched a mini version of their best-selling Essential Saucepan. Now available in two sizes (a 2.7- and the new 1.5- quart option), the lightweight, stainless steel saucepan features an oven-safe tempered glass lid that allows you to strain liquids with ease. You’ll also find easy-to-clean, rivet-free handles and an inner capacity marker for quick measuring.

Persol

Persol PO3260S

For their latest pair of sunglasses, Persol has delved into their archives to bring back yet another iconic style: the PO3260S. Originally worn in 1960 by Marcello Mastroianni in Fellini’s La Dolce Vita, you might recognize them from a slightly more recent film, 1999’s The Talented Mr. Ripley, as donned by Jude Law’s character. The aviators have since been reissued in seven new colorways, from classic tortoiseshell to a gradient blue frame. They’re ideal for someone who’s always admired the 714s but wants something slightly less conspicuous.

Civil Goat Roastery

Civil Goat Roasters

One of our favorite coffee roasters, Civil Goat in Austin, Texas, is now shipping nationally and offering monthly subscriptions. Choose from their selection of single-origin beans or one of their blends, then decide on your desired frequency and get a 10% discount on each bag. We’re considering picking up a very nice Civil Goat T-shirt, too.

Hennessy Cognac

Hennessy X.O x Frank Gehry

Celebrating 150 years, Hennessy X.O now arrives via a crinkled sleeve of gold and a “fractured” glass decanter designed by Frank Gehry. $17,000 and very limited in release, but it’s as much art as it is spirit.
