Each week, our inbox runneth over with news of gear, apparel and tech releases from around the world. In this feature, we’ll parse through the best of them. Today: a sexy Made In bread knife, a Snoopy Omega Speedmaster and Adidas’ take on crocs.
Made In Limited Edition Nancy Silverton Bread Knife
For their latest collaboration, Made In partnered with acclaimed Chef Nancy Silverton, of La Brea Bakery fame, for The Bread Knife. The knife features a serrated edge and a limited-edition handle crafted from ivory micarta, an industrial laminate composed of organic material (like paper or cloth) that is then pressed and dried in resin. Like the rest of Made In’s knife collection, the knife will stay sharp and durable, while the pointed edge and wide serration profile ensures a seamless cut and easy bread-carving experience.
Woodford Reserve Baccarat
An already excellent Kentucky bourbon spent an additional three years in select XO Cognac casks, then was bottled in a handmade crystal decanter that took five days to create in Baccarat, France.
Adilette Clogs
There’s really not much to say about these new Adilette Clogs. Adidas seems to have just said “screw it” and ripped off Crocs, while of course adding their trademark three stripes and keeping them to tasteful black-and-white colorways. They’re Crocs for people who can’t bring themselves to wear Crocs. Simple.
Omega Speedmaster “Silver Snoopy Award” 50th Anniversary
You know the story of Apollo 13. What you may not know is that the astronauts used Omega Speedmaster watches to time a 14-second rocket engine firing that corrected their trajectory and allowed them to return to Earth safely. For that, the crew presented Omega with their “Silver Snoopy Award” in 1970 (as the Peanuts pup served as a kind of NASA mascot). To celebrate the 50th anniversary, Omega is releasing another commemorative timepiece. Previous limited-edition Snoopy models have shot up in price in the collector market, but this time they’re not limiting production. That said, if you want one, get in touch with a dealer now.
Warby Parker Clean My Lenses Kit with Anti-Fog Spray
We four-eyed mask-wearers no longer have to sacrifice our vision thanks to Warby Parker’s new anti-fog lens spray, part of their Clean My Lenses Kit. The spray works by absorbing the droplets that accumulate on the lenses, preventing them from fogging. Also included in the kit is a microfiber cloth and lens pouch to ensure your lenses stay crystal clear. Even better, the whole kit costs a reasonable $15. Now go forth and watch 2020 burn the world down with 20/20 vision.
Timex M79 Black on Black Watch
Not only has Timex been shifting its focus to automatic movements instead of the cheaper quartz, but it’s started offering the most affordable Rolex copycats out there. The M79 did this by emulating the black and blue Batman bezel upon launch, and it worked — for a while, they couldn’t keep this watch in stock. If you’re not a fan of the imitation game happening in the watch world right now, but are a fan of this revamped ‘70s design, the M79 now comes in a less ostentatious black-on-black color, with subtle tan accents on the indices and hands.
Timbuk2 The Vapor Collection
Backpacks, crossbody bags, totes and duffels from the SF brand that knows how to bring out the best in commuter bags — but this time, they’re all crafted from something called MIPAN® regen™, the world’s first environmentally friendly recyclable nylon.
Hedley & Bennett Tie Dye Aprons
If you’re in need of an apron, look no further than Hedley and Bennett’s limited-edition tie-dye aprons, available in Jasper or Sapphire. Inspired by the gemstones they’re named after, the brushed dull denim aprons are hand-dyed in Los Angeles, meaning no two aprons are alike. Like the rest of the brand’s aprons, their tie-dyed options will not only prove to be aesthetically pleasing, but extremely durable and capable of withstanding whatever culinary tasks you put them through. So show your dinner guests you’re not like regular chefs — you’re a cool chef.
Everlane The Easy Merino Polo and The Easy Merino Crew
Everlane just dropped two new basics you’ll have no problem sporting this season. The Easy Merino Crew and The Easy Merino Polo are both super handsome styles made from ultra-fine merino wool that’s RWS (Responsible Wool Standard) certified and spun into a 14-gauge yarn, which gives them their smooth-as-butter feel. Oh, and they’re machine-washable, meaning you can sport the styles as often as you do your fave T-shirt.

All-Weather DuckBoot
Huckberry dropped a new and improved version of their highly-coveted All-Weather Duckboot, an ever-reliable, good-looking three-season boot with a cushy, high-traction Vibram outsole. The 100% waterproof hybrid boot is built to handle rough terrains and all unsavory weather conditions thanks to its “durable, full-grain leather uppers, a tough rubberized leather rand, and tread designed for traction in all elements.” But it’s not just a rugged boot that can survive blizzards and monsoons. It also offers lightweight, sneaker-like comfort with a soft, cushy insole, a shock-absorbing midsole and a breathable, moisture-wicking membrane, while Vibram’s iconic outsole provides extra comfort and grippy traction.
Bang & Olufsen Beogram 4000 Turntable
They’re only making 95 units of this iconic 1972 turntable, crafted from old models that have been stripped down and built back up with a new oak case and a few other refinements.

Gyles & George x Rowing Blazers Men’s “I’m A Luxury” Sweater
The first installment of Rowing Blazer’s Fall/Winter collection is an ode to the ’80s and Princess Diana, who if you haven’t yet heard, is a menswear icon. And what better way to honor the Princess than with the Gyles & George “I’m A Luxury” sweater she famously donned. For the first time since the ’90s, the design is back, produced as an exclusive collab between the two brands.
