Aston Martin Made a Swedish Fairy Tale with a Beastly V8 Engine

If this is Stockholm Syndrome, count us in

Leave it to Aston Martin to say “Thank you” in such a distinguished manner.

Q, the British car maker’s specialty division, has taken to creating limited-run bespoke models as a gesture of gratitude to their dealers. And the latest iteration, the Swedish Forest Edition, is perhaps the most remarkable make yet.

From the outside, the creation may appear to be a fairly run-of-the-mill V8 Vantage S with a few extra green carbon fiber accents. But a look inside reveals a great deal more. Inspired by the forest, the interior features original stitching patterns on the headrests and a Swedish forest image etched in the suede headliner. The main highlight though is the custom wooden waterfall fascia integrated into the center console and on the sill plaques. It’s ravishing. But don’t be fooled by its serene aesthetic. This baby is still pumping out 430 ponies and jetting 0-60 in just 4.1 seconds.

And like sightings of gnomes and wood nymphs, it’s also crazy rare. With a production run of just four, you can expect this majestic beauty to be a noteable collector’s items for decades to come.
