Originally released in Japan in June (and selling out within minutes) there was much fanfare surrounding these elusive masks that drew crowds of people hoping to purchase. Their popularity in large part comes from their ability to solve one of the nuisances caused by masks: breathability. The mask is crafted from three layers, the first being the brand’s breathable AIRism Mesh, the second capable of cutting up to 99% of particles such as bacteria and pollen, while the third layer is also made of AIRism Mesh for even more breathability.
Plus, it doesn’t hurt that the mask is available in Gray, Black and White, three colors that go with anything and everything. And, you’re not just getting one mask for $15 but three. So it’s pretty easy to see why they’re so popular.
