There are certain things in this world that, once acquired, a man should never let go of.
First-press Bowie records. Unpublished photos of Marilyn Monroe. An honest mechanic. Such things do not come around often. But every now and then, a gem will surface.
Such is the case with this 1958 Porsche 356A Speedster Reutter.
A response to the era’s desire for a less costly Porsche that could still tear up the track, the 356 was a minimal, polished and efficient solution. This particularly stunning make, one of just 1,171 ever produced, has only changed hands three times. It was skillfully restored five years ago and, from the gearbox to the German Racing Silver color, it remains in exceptional condition.
The 356 is perhaps the most handsome and iconic speedster in the game. Like a shot at true love or entry-level Apple stock, its sale is an opportunity you’ll regret letting slip through the cracks.
That said, you’ll have to pony up (to the tune of around $330k) to corral these ponies.
