If there’s one thing that signals the arrival of spring and the advent of summer, it’s the sudden pervasiveness of boat shoes. One day it’s all sneakers and then as soon as the weather creeps above 70 degrees, it’s a wash of boat-appropriate shoes.
One brand that has long dominated the boat and deck shoe game is Sebago, purveyor of prep-adored footwear. Now they’ve partnered with a more recent American classic in Todd Snyder for new iterations of two classic Sebago silhouettes, the boat shoe and the chukka. The styles have been rendered in hairy suede and are available in three faded, sunwashed hues (including pink!). While they may be deemed boat shoes, they’ll look just as great planted firmly on the ground.
