In an Instagram post, Fox News host Jedediah Bila revealed that the reason she has been “MIA” from the network is that she is at home recovering from COVID-19. Saying she is “on the mend,” Bila also revealed her husband is recovering at home alongside her. Her infant son Hartley luckily did not get sick.

“This is a crazy time in the world, full of so much anxiety and fear,” Bila wrote. “I’ve learned so much this past week and done so much thinking. Know that I’m sending love, peace, and good energy from my family to yours. I’ll be sharing more in coming weeks. Thank you for your messages. I love and miss you all.”

Bila, 41, is the first Fox News host to announce she has the virus. She is a co-host on Fox & Friends Weekend and was previously a co-host on ABC’s The View.

Bila’s co-host on her show, Pete Hegseth, has been skeptical about the threat COVID-19 poses in the past. In a Fox & Friends Weekend segment about the pandemic last month, Hegseth declared: “The more I learn about this, the less there is to worry about.”

Her show tapes in New York City, the epicenter of the pandemic in the U.S.
