Custom tends to come at a cost in the automotive world.
But Massimo Minale — designer of buildings, innovative lighting, cufflinks and one helluva a nice whisky cabinet — thinks otherwise.
Case in point: the LDN Mutt, his recent collaboration with Mutt Motorcycles.
Built on a 125cc four-stroke engine, the ride is inspired by its homeland’s vibrant music and culture scene, from punk rock to the new wave. Custom built and painted, she’s easy on both the eyes and wallet. Produced in a limited-edition run of 50 — each coming with a personalized number on the tank — the LDN will only set a fella back about $6,000.
Should you have some coin burning a hole in your pocket, they have two additional models. The Boneshaker 79 chopper with a 1200cc Harley Sportster engine runs for about $51,000, while the Boneshaker Black cafe racer, based on an old Honda CB550, goes for roughly $33,000.
In our opinion, though, it’s the LDN that hits the sweet spot. Made by men of conviction, for men of conviction.
It’s accessible meets extraordinary.
