It’s one of five homes you’ll find below, on our list of the most luxurious listings currently on the market in San Francisco. But as a thought exercise, we also decided to include some options around the country to show you how much a similar home might cost you in a different zip code.
Want a four-bedroom — but for under a half-mil, instead of $35M? Move to Kentucky.

What a 4BR will cost you in Kentucky: $495K, for a turn-of-the-century Victorian (think turrets, hardwood floors, and possibly ghosts) that wants to be your money pit.
What $34M will get you in New York City: A Park Avenue penthouse with to-die-for terraces and a bathroom that looks cribbed from Versailles.
