Details about the latest James Bond movie have been trickling out for a few months now, but today the title has finally been announced. As Deadline reports, the 25th installment in the iconic spy series will be called No Time To Die.
Daniel Craig will return as Bond, this time relaxing in Jamaica before being tracked down by the new 007 and asked to help track down a mysterious villain (played by Rami Malek). The film is directed by Cary Fukunaga (of True Detective fame) and written by Fukunaga, Neil Purvis & Robert Wade, Scott Z. Burns and Phoebe Waller-Bridge. Christoph Waltz, Ben Whishaw, Lea Seydoux, Naomie Harris, Jeffrey Wright and Ralph Fiennes are also confirmed to return to the series for the follow-up to 2015’s Spectre.
Despite a few setbacks, including an ankle injury to Craig that required surgery, No Time To Die will be released on April 3, 2020 in the U.K. and April 8, 2020 in the United States.
If you’re looking for a bit of trivia, this is the fourth film in the franchise with “Die” in the title. It joins 1973’s Live and Let Die, 1997’s Tomorrow Never Dies and 2002’s Die Another Day.
