Between the movie stars that need a place to feel like movie stars and the businessmen who also need to feel like movie stars, you wouldn’t think L.A.’s high-end hotels are hurting for an audience.
But you’d be wrong: premium hotels rooms are booked only about 20% of the time, as compared to 80% for standard rooms.
Enter Suiteness, a new online clearinghouse that seeks to solve this riddle by linking prospective guests with vacant suites in Los Angeles, New York, Miami and Vegas.
Here are seven of the most baller suites they offer in our fair city.
Hotel Amarano Burbank
Chairman’s Suite
The Chairman’s Suite has a patio overlooking the studios of Burbank and its own fitness facility and spa — within the room.
L’Ermitage Beverly Hills
Royal Suite
Rumor has it the L’Ermitage houses a lot of guests recovering from plastic surgery, and that the hotel staff is especially adept at handling folks in convalescence. Either way, the Royal Suite is where to do an extended stay, with closets that are probably bigger than your bedroom.
The Peninsula Beverly Hills
Royal Patio Suite
The Royal Patio Suite includes a gourmet kitchen and stately patios that overlook the Peninsula’s dense gardens. Also, the Peninsula recently updated its restaurant and word on the street is it’s pretty damn tasty.
The Beverly Hills Hotel
Presidential Bungalow
The best room you’ll find at the pink palace. It’s like a miniaturized mansion, with a chef’s kitchen and dining room, living area with fireplace and a King bedroom with full marble bath. Also: a patio with a private exercise area and swimming pool.
Hotel Bel-Air
Herb Garden Suite
Private elevator entrance, high ceilings, fireplace and a kitchen fit for Wolfgang Puck. The Herb Garden Suite at the Hotel Bel-Air is sultan-worthy. Literally. The place is owned by one.
