There’s closing out date night with intimate conversation, and then there’s closing it out with intimate conversation while a sultry chanteuse croons to you in a hidden alcove of one of Manhattan’s poshest hotels. You’ll take the latter.

Wednesday Afternoon: New Duds

New outfit = feeling good. Science. Gear up for your night out with a pit stop at Gant’s warehouse sale (260 Fifth Avenue — between 28th and 29th), featuring killer deals on all their fall/winter collections. Up to 70% on everything from tweedy blazers to leather jackets to wool trousers. Spring’s a comin’, but it ain’t here just yet.

Thursday Evening: Seafood Bonanza

While you may not know the names Mike Price and Joey Campanaro, we’re guessing you’re familiar with their handiwork: foodie Meccas
Market Table and The Little Owl. And now they’ve dropped another West Village gem: The Clam, a seafood bungalow on Hudson plating up oysters Rockefeller with absinthe and a whole winter flounder with bacon and pistachio pesto. Peep the menu.

Thursday Night: Jazzy Nightcap

Post-repast, grab a quick cab up to The NoMad Hotel, where Will Guidara and Daniel Humm have added live jazz Thursdays to their repertoire in the secluded second-floor Johnston Room. Music goes till midnight, guests include Grammy winners and reservations are a must — you’ll see why when you watch this seductive teaser video.
