Burger King

Finding the right after-work sports bar presents a challenge — do you go for the dusty, tin-ceilinged haunt with the chargrilled bartender, or the modern sports lounge with so many wackadoodle blue lights it’s like Cirque du Cheeseburger?

Neither, hungry sports fan — you hit up recently-opened LT Burger, where BLT empire-chef Laurent Tourondel’s bunning his decadent French twist on American grill classics.

Think of LT Burger as the world’s swankiest sports bar, where plasma TVs hang from marble walls and the wings are crispy, ginger-tinged drums of gourmet stickiness.

The starter menu includes chopped brisket nachos and kosher-fried pickles, but burgers are the literal name of the game – from the LT Backyard with hickory-smoked bacon and pickle-mayo “LT sauce,” to an American Kobe patty with portobello and truffle paste.

And because you broke your Weight Watchers diet just by reading this, go ahead and enjoy LT’s 15 belt-loosening shakes, including “R-Rated” blends like Jim Beam and maple pecan ice cream.

Stay well-watered downstairs with a litany of wines, draft beers, and signature cocktails (check out the drink menu), or watch the playoffs upstairs surrounded by portraits of icons like David Bowie, and strangely enough, Heavy D.

Which could become your nickname should you find yourself here too often.
