In the spring time, a man takes pleasure from two simple things: watching baseball, which keeps you entertained, and gorging yourself, which keeps you from doing much besides watching baseball.
Enjoy both in the home of a former Per Se chef, with the “Take Me Out to the Ball Game” secret supper club, available exclusively to InsideHook readers.
Cheffed by David Santos — formerly of Per Se, Bouley, and Hotel Griffou — “Ball Game” is an invite-only, seven-course feast inspired by the start of the MLB season.
The chef’s whimsically tasty menu includes dishes inspired by seven baseball teams, e.g.:
- the Rangers (gulf shrimp tacos with chipotle cream)
- the Yankees (ricotta zeppoles with (Bob) lemon curd)
- and The Mariners (a salmon sandwich with “Ichiro vinaigrette” and rice crisp — the cheeky ethnocentrism of which belies its tastiness)
Santos is cooking this Friday, April 6th and Saturday, April 7th. Tickets are $75 and exclusive to InsideHook readers. The two dinners are BYOB and each accommodates 14 people. The exact location of the dinner will be revealed one day before.
Tickets are only available through Underground Eats — a clandestine dining site which is itself typically invite-only, but InsideHook readers have exclusive access this week. Simply sign up, then use this link to make your reservation for Santos’ supper club.
