Old age can be cruel.

But now, thanks to one Venice doc, cosmetic surgery is cruelty-free.

This, thanks to Dr. Nice Kuay, a first-of-its-kind, all-natural cosmetic surgery center located just above Café Gratitude in Venice Beach.

Dr. Kuay’s speciality: breast, calves and butt implants harvested from the Kuayule (KI-YULE) plant, which he grows himself at a family farm near Ojai.

Call it a farm-to-operating-table procedure.

“We just add water and flax seed to the Kuay and it’s whipped up in no time,” says owner and head surgeon Dr. Rick Rector.

The flax seed, according to Kuay, acts as a thickener and keeps the product entirely vegan, gluten-free and supple to the touch.

In-office Venice consultations are free and Dr. Kuay’s friendly nurses Crystal and Bodhi — test cases A and B for the procedure (breast/butt and calf, respectively) — can talk you through expectations, maintenance and the recovery process.

In conjunction with Dr. Kuay’s opening, Café Gratitude is offering a special seasoned cider made with Kuayule.

Bottoms up.

In more ways than one.
