It’s hard to believe that it’s been 17 years since Britney Spears broke onto the scene with her 1999 single, “…Baby One More Time,” which made her and her Catholic schoolgirl uniform megastars.
After a string of smash-hit follow-ups, a public relationship and breakup with fellow teenybopper Justin Timberlake, a make-out session with Madonna at the MTV VMAs, an untimely buzzcut, and then a comeback—that included a hit Vegas residency—Spears is back with a new single, “Make Me…,” and a soon-to-be-released ninth studio album.
And she’s now joined the likes of Adele, First Lady Michelle Obama, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers in the passenger’s seat of late-night host James Corden’s Range Rover to do her own “carpool karaoke” session. Watch the results below.
