If you’ve ever driven through Miami, you know that it’s basically a microcosm of the Concours d’Elegance—it’s one supercar or Bentley or Ferrari after the next, as far as the eye can see. The folks behind AutoHouse are banking on the fact that the city’s luxury car enthusiasts will want to meet, mingle, and show off one another’s wares.
Located in Downtown Miami, AutoHouse is equal parts car condominium and exclusive, members-only club. Purpose-built, climate-controlled units—AutoGalleries—range from $350,000 to $1.5 million apiece accommodate two to eight vehicles. (AutoHouse founder Louis Birdman also tells RealClearLife that AutoHouse is “planning an automated tower that would be available for rent on a monthly to annual [basis] for approximately $600/month.”)
For members looking to stay on for longer periods of time, the company also offers AutoSuites—vertical garage units where supercar owners can ensure their collections are protected against hurricane season and your kid’s overzealous friends.
The building’s penthouse will include a social club, with a lounge and wraparound roof deck, where AutoHouse members can hang out or host a special event.
