Unveiled at this year’s Paris Motor Show, a new electric car from Japanese startup Green Lord Motors (GLM) is out to give the Tesla Model S a run for its money. The G4 concept is being billed as the world’s first fully-electric supercar.

The four-passenger supercar uses two electric motors and boasts 540 horsepower and 737 pound-feet of torque. It goes from 0 to 62 mph in 3.7 seconds, with a top speed of 155 mph. Furthermore, GLM claims the G4 will manage 248 miles on a single charge, nearly equalling the Tesla S’s 250.

If you haven’t heard of GLM before, you’re not alone. The car company only has one model currently for sale, but GLM is looking to position itself as a major supplier for electric vehicles, much like Tesla. In addition to engine innovation, GLM executives applied their tech background towards the interior of its Tommykaira ZZ EV.

GLM first made headlines earlier this year when they partnered with electronic instrument maker Roland Corporation to develop what Roland calls “a neo-futuristic driving sound generation system” for GLM’s electric sports car. The technology will create a range of studio-quality musical sounds depending on real-time driving experiences—the system will have the ability to change sounds based on acceleration, deceleration, or going uphill or downhill.

Unfortunately, the Tommykaira ZZ EV isn’t available in the United States. Even worse, GLM hasn’t mentioned a release date for the G4 at all. (There have been reports it would be sold for approximately $224,000, should it be made available.) So for now, watching the video below will be the closest thing to sitting behind the wheel.—Additional reporting by Relaxnews
