Zen Superyacht Concept Is a Hybrid Luxury Beach House and Loft

First, you had a “Choice,” now you have some “Zen.” As you might remember, RealClearLife recently covered Feadship’s Choice superyacht concept, which was fully autonomous, had a two-man drone onboard, and a little breakaway beach house.

The company, in partnership with designer Sinot, has upped the comfort ante with its new 262-foot Zen concept superyacht, combining the vacation-daze of a beach house with the freedom and spaciousness of a luxury loft. The idea here is actually “less is more.” The companies have reduced the tonnage in the interior of the Zen to just two decks—creating less of the traditional “wedding cake” vertical design of superyachts and sleek-ifying it.

Like the Evo 43 motorboat, the Zen’s also all about the “party in the back.” With the less busy interior and lower-to-the-water design, the superyacht has space for nearly 5,382-square-foot exterior deck—with an additional 43-foot aft lounge area, perfect for big parties or a meeting of entourages. Also at the aft? A 26-foot swimming pool (its complementary jacuzzi lies on the foredeck).

Additionally, the design includes a bridge deck lounge and dining area, a stateroom for the owners (which includes a lounge, bedroom, and office), a VIP stateroom for important guests (like your mother-in-law), and an onboard gym and spa.
