Famed automotive designer and entrepreneur Henrik Fisker has collaborated with luxury boat builder Benetti on a new 164-foot-long superyacht. Called the Benetti Fisker 50, the yacht was designed in California and will be built in Italy. Materials will include lightweight carbon fiber accents, reclaimed wood, integrated solar panels, and the yacht will offer optional hybrid power.
The Benetti Fisker 50 integrates Benetti’s engineering prowess and Fisker’s flair for dynamic, sporty design. The superyacht has a a unique front view and a visually engaging layout, with flowing, sculptural lines, carbon fiber shark fins, and other dramatic flourishes.
And those are just the aesthetics. Equal care was taken with the onboard amenities, which include a beach club, spa, several bars, an ocean-facing jacuzzi, sunbathing areas on multiple decks, and jet skis. The yacht accommodates up to 12 guests in six cabins (all with optimized ocean views), and 11 crew members in comfortable staff quarters.
The main deck has a reception area similar to a large living room, with a bar facing the port. It also holds the master suite, which has a library/office, bedroom and bathroom, a retractable “fold down” ocean-view terrace, a fireplace, and starlight ceiling.
From there, a large inviting staircase leads to the upper deck, where you’ll find a movie theater that can be converted into a gym. There’s also a sun deck, which includes a relaxing area, a dining table, another bar, and a dual-use fire pit/enlarged ice bucket.
Designs for the Benetti Fisker 50 were completed last year, and it’s currently ready to be built. Take a look at more concept images of the finished product below.
