Gearing up for the release of its newest offering, Tesla announced Monday that it will double the number of charging stations available for public use.

Tesla ambitiously plans to produce 500,00 Model 3s in 2018, which has some fearing of long wait lines at charging stations as new cars flood the market, Bloomberg reports.

The announcement is an attempt to sway those fears by adding 39 percent more than what Elon Musk, Tesla’s CEO and founder, promised for 2017.

The electric car company will add 5,000 more Superchargers stations, which fill up the car’s battery in minutes, and 6,000 more Destination Charging stations at hotels and restaurants, which charge more slowly.

Tesla said in a press release it will add new stations and expand existing ones with priority given to cities and along its drivers’ busiest travel routes.

New Supercharger stations will be powered by solar panels and be able to accommodate “several dozen Teslas Supercharging simultaneously,” Tesla said.
