Rolls-Royce Unveils the 2018 Phantom

The luxury automaker claims the Phantom is 'the most silent motor car in the world.'

British luxury automaker Rolls-Royce has unveiled its new 2018 Phantom to the public.

The eighth generation of the flagship model comes 14 years after its predecessor and has been in development for six years.

Under the hood, the new Phantom comes with a 6.75-liter twin-turbo V12 engine that go 0-60mph in 5.3 seconds. The new all-aluminum chassis gives the car a stiffer ride for functional performance while also making the car lighter. A satellite-aided transmission will anticipate how and when to shift gears based on the cars geographic location and driver’s behavior.

The interior of the features a dashboard encased in toughened glass that can be customized by Rolls Royce and your favorite artist or designer to create your own person art gallery inside the vehicle. Sound insulation all around the car make it ‘the most silent motor car in the world.’

The luxury vehicle will set you back an estimated $440,000.
