New images of Margot Robbie as Queen Elizabeth I on the set of Mary Queen of Scots were released, and you probably won’t even recognize her. The Australian actress has dawned powered skin, balding hair and intense costumes for the role, reports Town and Country.
The movie, which is based on the biography My Heart is My Own: The Life of Mary Queen of Scots by John Guy, is being shot in the U.K. and focuses on Mary’s troubled relationship back in the 16th century. The film also stars Satires Ronan, David Tennant, Guy Pearce, Jack Lowden, Joe Alwyn, Martin Compton, and Brendan Boyle, reports Town and Country, and is directed by Josie Rourke.
Though the pictures probably have everyone really excited, the film is not set to be released until sometime in 2018.
