Alabama Moves Back into No. 1 Spot in NCAA College Football Re-Rank

Clemson drops to No. 2.

Alabama moves back to the No. 1 spot after a monstrous win of 59-0 over Vanderbilt. According to USA Today, this drops Clemson to No. 2 in the rankings.

Clemson eventually pulled in a win against Boston College, but it wasn’t enough to put them ahead of the Crimson Tide.

USA Today calls the back of the end of the top 25 a “disaster zone.” Five new teams sit between No. 19 and No. 25 in the new re-rank. South Florida and Duke, both undefeated, join the Tigers and Cardinals, and Iowa was bumped up after taking Penn State to the final seconds on Saturday night, writes USA Today.

Charlotte drops to last after losing to Georgia State, which previously held the 130th spot, out of 130.
