Eric Leuthardt is a 44-year-old scientist and brain surgeon who spends a lot of his time imagining what the future can hold, which in his mind, includes electrodes and chips in our brains that will help us communicate better with computers and ourselves. He knows it sounds a little whacky, but he believes once people understand what technology could do for us, it will greatly impact the evolutionary direction of the human race.
