Italian heritage. American personality.
At times, a questionable combo (looking at you, Neverending Pasta Bowl).
But when it comes to fine leather goods: molto bueno. So check out Peter Nappi, available online now.
Started by the grandson of an Italian shoemaker, Peter Nappi designs in a Nashville studio.
His leather? Sourced and hand-stitched in Tuscany.
The Kings of Leon are big fans. So are the Black Keys. Easy to see why: these are classic leather wares with a hint of rock’n’roll.
Three items we dig:
The Rocco work boot in vachetta leather and washed suede, available in cognac, charcoal, asfalto and petrole.
The limited-edition Mauro leather jacket, inspired by Italian racing gear.
And the Celso, a velvet green/grey suede weekender.
So the e-store’s great. But definitely hit PN’s studio in Nashville. There, you’ll find plenty of in-store only wares, like an array of handsome small leather goods (shoe totes, eyeglass cases, cigar cases, wallets, etc.).
And, on a given night, you might find Hank Williams’s granddaughter there performing some tunes.
And she’s great in any language.
