The St. Regis World Snow Polo Championship in Aspen just wrapped up, and Town & Country brings us inside the glamorous world of Snow Polo. For those wondering, yes, it’s polo in the snow. The horses wear shoes with stronger grips, the ball is brighter and bigger, and spectators get to be closer to the action than in conventional polo. The event is steeped in luxury, featuring gold champagne chalices and the highest of high end winter wear. As snow polo has grown in popularity during its 32 years of existence, more and more professional polo players have begun to compete in the snow.
