A street artist clearly doesn’t agree with Meryl Streep’s claim that she did not know about Harvey Weinstein’s alleged sexual misconduct. Posters have started popping up in Los Angeles on Tuesday, featuring a photograph of Streep next to Weinstein and a red banner with the words “She Knew” placed across Streep’s eyes. The posters have shown up in multiple locations, including outside the acclaimed actress’s home and the SAF-AFTRA building. No artist has been identified.

Recently, Rose McGowan criticized Streep and other actresses who are planning to wear black to the upcoming Golden Globes as a silent protest against sexual misconduct in the industry. Street released a statement in response to McGowan, saying ““I wasn’t deliberately silent. I didn’t know. I don’t tacitly approve of rape. I didn’t know. I don’t like young women being assaulted. I didn’t know this was happening.” Streep said her relationship with Weinstein was strictly business and that he never harassed or assaulted her personally. Streep said that “not every actor, actress, and director who made films that HW distributed knew he abused women, or that he raped Rose in the 90s, other women before and others after, until they told us.”
