The trailer for Mindhunter, David Fincher’s new Netflix show after House of Cards, just dropped.
The show is set in 1979 and follows two FBI agents as they try to understand the minds’ of serial killers in order to help solve future murder cases.
“It’s not easy butchering people,” one serial killer who is in jail reflects in the trailer. “It’s hard work. Physically and mentally, I don’t think people realize.”
The show stars Jonathan Groff, Anna Torv, and Holt McCallany. Fincher is the executive producer and director of three episodes and according to Slate, Charlize Theron also has an executive producer credit on the show.
Mindhunter is set to be released on October 13.
