When Nike throws a sale on its best sneakers, often the discount only applies to the wackiest color available. It can feel like a bait and switch: you get all excited to score a new pair, only to realize the whites and blues are full price, while the fuschias and mustards are slashed.
Today, the opposite is true at Mr Porter. The outlet is throwing a ginormous winter sale that includes discounts on a number of Nike sneakers, notably the universally stylish low-top Blazer, and while there are a few colors available the one with the most stock is actually the best of the bunch: the classic leather in white and blue, which is currently 40% off.
The discounts also extend to an all-white pair, a white and green set, and a surprisingly wearable style in orange suede, but the sizing isn’t as plentiful.
