Each year, the world’s elite mountain bikers gather at the Redbull Rampage. For 2016, the freeride mountain biking competition was held in Southern Utah, where Canadian Brandon Semenuk won first place. Semenuk’s masterful run included a flat-spin 360, flat-drop backflip, and backflip one-footed can-can. (For those who aren’t versed in the sport’s terminology, the videos at the bottom will help you appreciate these feats.)

Semenuk’s score of 84.33 earned him the top spot, followed by riders Antoine Bizet and Carson Storch. The Canadian’s win was his second in the competition, having already won in 2008. Watch some highlights of the contest in the videos below, from the perspectives of the riders themselves.
