Happy Friday. (“Already?!”)

Sometimes the week races by so fast that by the time five o’clock rolls around, we’re staring headlong into a weekend of couch-bound inertia.

Fret not, though, idle brethren — we’ve got a line on the best goings-on L.A. has to offer.

The VRLA Summer Expo

There will be 130 games in need of players at the LA Convention Center this weekend, where Radeon Technologies Group is hosting a bonanza of all things virtual reality. Strap on a headset and enter your own little world.

Westbound + Van Leeuwen = Boozy Milkshakes

The mixologists at Westbound stir and shake some of L.A.’s best cocktails, and they’ve partnered with Van Leeuwen Ice Cream for some delicious, booze-laced milkshakes that will make for the perfect pre- or postgame affair to the other events on your schedule.

Chad Muska’s Supra Pop-Up

Also, Marquez’s son, director Rodrigo García, will say a few words beforehand.

Two Shepherds Wine Brunch at Eveleigh

The temp is supposed to be tolerable on Sunday, which makes it a perfect day to eat a lazy brunch on Eveleigh’s gorgeous back porch. Two Shepherds, a Windsor-based vineyard, is hosting a six-course tasting brunch with wine pairings. Take an Uber.
