A woman faced a close encounter with one of nature’s deadliest predators—inside her own garage.
Colorado Springs resident Denielle Backstrom managed to video tape her terrifying run-in with a bear even as she was trapped in her car, according to The Gazette.
Backstrom showed the composure to sound her horn in an attempt to scare the bear away. While the bear eventually left the garage, Colorado Parks and Wildlife declared the animal “dangerous” because of its acclimation to humans and planned to euthanize it.
A trap has been set for it and baited with donuts, icing, syrup, and dog food.
