Nike Is Having a Huge Winter Sale, And It’s Maybe the Only Good Thing in the World Right Now

Because I spend more money on Nike gear than is “reasonable” or “not pathological” according to my wife, I am always delighted when they do a fresh round of up-to-50%-off seasonal markdowns. Particularly when those markdowns are meant to offload product that is still totally seasonally appropriate — in this case a boatload of jackets/coats, which Nike always seems to massively overproduce and are, for the vast majority of us dealing with freezing temps, a super good look.

Below we’ve curated some of our favorites (along with a few non-coat pieces that are just, you know, sweet), but it bears noting that this sale is absolutely massive and warrants a more thorough perusal for those of us who ride hard for the House of Swoosh. Beware, though: those crafty bastards in Beaverton have an annoying habit of padding their sale page with items that are just barely marked down, leading to situations where you’ll get very excited at the look of say, a down puffer vest, only to find that you’re getting a whopping three pennies off the original price. So keep your head on a swivel.

Nike Sportswear Down-Fill Windrunner

Gotta love it when the best colorway is the one marked down the furthest. Farthest? Who cares, it’s a good deal.

They do a mean camo version as well if that’s more your thing (and it should be, low-key camo like this is way more versatile than you might think).

Nike

Nike Sportswear Synthetic-Fill Windrunner

There are more understated colorways on offer, but sometimes you just gotta get loud as hell with it. Bonus: synthetic fill for all you vegan hypebeasts out there.

Nike

Nike Pro-Flex Vent Jacket + DriFIT Training Pants

Think of the jacket like Paul Simon and the pants like Art Garfunkel: individually both are fine (with the former being better than the latter), but together? Magic.

Nike

Jordan Air Therma Training Fleece Hoodie

Worth a look purely for the way that Nike is doing their hoods these days with three panels and some extra coverage in the front.

Nike

Nike Sportswear Down-Fill Repel Parka

Sick discount and this bad boy will carry you with aplomb through those days that are colder than a penguin’s pecker.

Nike

Nike Therma Essential Running Pants

Speaking from experience, equally good for running and sitting on your couch writing an article about a Nike sale.

Nike

Nike Sportswear Marble EcoDown Jacket

Another great discount, and this fabric is so rad — made from recycled plastic bottles, it has a very cool, borderline translucent look.

Nike

Nike Sportswear 1/2-Zip Fleece

Quarter zip, half zip … whatever you want to call it, you know how we feel about it.

Nike

Nike Sportswear Synthetic-Fill Anorak

Anoraks are criminally underrated — sure, pulling it on and off is a bit of a pain, but the look is on point and the ‘roo pocket is nuff handy for all kinds of cold weather accoutrement like hats, gloves, flasks of whiskey, etc.

Nike

Jordan Winter Utility Jacket

To paraphrase the very talented comedian Pete Holmes, if this colorway doesn’t unlock the safe where you keep your joy, maybe lube up the dial a little bit.
