The good thing about Black & Decker’s system is that it’s modular: Many of their tools are powered with the same 20V MAX battery. This lithium-ion battery provides holds a charge for up to 18 months.
And the Woot sale features multiple tool kits — the Cordless Combo Kit, for example, features six attachment heads that are easy to swap out for different types of projects, from drilling to sanding to cutting drywall. Add in a compact storage case, and you’ll take up a lot less room than having six separate tools that all need their own place to live.
If you don’t need that much done in your home, the Woot sale includes just the cordless drill, a random orbit sander (66% off) and a bench battery charger for powering up your jet ski, motorhome, ATV or snowmobile.
