Billy Joel’s Sprawling Florida Mansion Hits Market for $27 Million

 

Clearly, the “Piano Man” has expensive taste. Legendary musician Billy Joel has put his sprawling oceanfront property in Manalapan, Florida, up for $27 million.

According to the Orlando Sentinel (and despite inconsistencies on the listing itself), that price includes a 13,200-square-foot mansion, with seven bedrooms and seven-and-a-half baths, as well as an empty adjacent lot (where you could house your own art collection, say). The habitable property also includes a backyard pool and four-car garage, and has a two-bedroom guesthouse. Also on the premise is a private dock, perfect for parking your superyacht or submersible.

As the Sentinel notes, the location could be better: One must take an underground walkway, below a busy roadway, to reach the beach. But between the “Captain Jack” karaoke session and piano lessons, you might never need to get there.
