Trump Said ‘Titties,’ and Twitter Went Totally Bananas

Donald Trump said “titties.” The candidate was delivering a major economic policy address before the Detroit Economic Club today, a speech intended as a major reset of his campaign after a week plagued by major GOP defections and declining poll numbers. Mr. Trump almost definitely meant to say “cities.”

But he didn’t. Not quite.

Of course, this is America, and the freedom of speech is one of the hallmarks of our wonderful democracy. That includes the freedom to pounce on a simple mistake and, through the magic of social media, to amuse oneself and one’s followers on a Monday afternoon.
