If hundreds of swimsuit models gathered in Miami and spent four days walking the catwalk — perhaps in a bikini, perhaps just body paint — you think maybe this would be, say, key international news.
And yet it is not: Miami Swim Week manages to come and go every July without anyone knowing about it. Is it because we grow tired of women in bikinis? Is it because really, there are only so many ways you can rework a couple square inches of fabric, year in and year out?
We can’t answer these questions. All we can do is provide the evidence and say: This happened. Photographers were there. And they earned their paychecks.
