Motivational posters are the suburbs of aesthetics.

Convenient, sure. But visually uninspiring.

Here’s a Chicago-inspired alternative: the Museum of Science and Industry’s new photographic print collection, available now.

Pulled from the MSI archives, these prints celebrate artifacts, collections and exhibits from the museum’s 80-year history.

Talking classic black-and-white photos of that massive U-505 sub to gallery-worthy watercolor scenes of the 1933 World’s Fair (pictured above). Plus: fascinating objects from the museum’s permanent collections.

Highlights:

The prints are available in various sizes, and can be done up in canvas, standard or fine art print format.

The museum plans to add more images to the collection soon, and you can view them all here.

Here’s to smarter office culture.
