Dealing in luxury real estate can earn some friends in high places. And that’s how Manny Khoshbin–property whiz, entrepreneur, and venture capitalist who doubles as a supercar collector with a multimillion-dollar stable—fell into the good graces of Italian automaker Pagani.
Khoshbin recently showed off his one-of-a-kind Pagani Huayra Hermès edition coupe, which he referred to as a “Picasso on wheels,” to his Instagram followers. (He has good reason to brag: the car is the first time the pair of luxe brands has done anything together.)
According to Khoshbin, this is just one of three Huayras in the U.S. with the “Tempesta package,” which runs about $180,000 over the $1.4 million sticker price. The package makes designer tweaks to the car’s body/chassis for better aerodynamics, suspension, and exhaust system, as well as bolting on larger wheels for better traction and handling.
The interior is obviously where Hermès worked its magic, hand-stitching all of the leather seating and such in its Paris factory. The company’s director of sales actually flew out to test-drive the car in person for Khoshbin, who sat in wonder in the passenger seat while the car’s engine revved forward like a jetliner.
Below, take a look at some more shots of Khoshbin’s baby.
