Owning a Bugatti comes with some baggage, deserved or not.
You think your taxes are too high. You go to Equinox. You date women half your age.
We’re not saying it’s the truth; just that people will assume these things of you.
Which is why I have ultimate respect for anyone in the market for this beastly Hellion twin-turbo Mustang — she of the ludicrous 1200 horsepower — which comes the dandy little price tag of $45k. Because the jockey behind the wheel of this thing isn’t here to strut and preen. That crazy bastard is in it for pure, unadulterated power.
If this sounds like you, get ye to Lebanon Ford in Ohio. They’re serving up a 5.0 liter Coyote V8 in two packages. One is the twin turbo system with Turbosmart VEE Port bypass valves, a large vertical flow dual inlet intercooler, controllable boost from 5-30 PSI and a Basani cat-back exhaust for $45k. The second, for $50k, beefs things up with 95-lb. injectors, a JMS PowerMax boost-a-pump, TSS oil pump and driveshaft shop 800 HP halfshafts.
Of note: the driveshaft will only withstand 800 ponies. So you’re likely to have to dish out some extra coin to ensure you’re not going to bust in two going head-to-head with said Bugatti weasels.
Which we are dying to see. Call us before it happens.
