As well all know, looks aren’t everything and it’s what’s on the inside that really counts (etc.).
That said, when something is good-looking inside and out, it doesn’t hurt. That’s the case with the Tremor, a rough-and-tumble luxury trailer just unveiled by Australia’s Lotus Caravans.
Available in lengths of 19.5, 20.5 or 22 feet, the Tremor features a rugged exterior crafted from German-made composite panelling riding atop a off-road chassis and independent suspension.
Prepared for off-the-grid camping thanks to a pair of 150-watt solar panels, the Outback-ready goes jsut as big in terms of creature comforts: five-star-status amenities like a complete LED lighting system, a stainless steel stove, oven, washing machine and lounge-style seating.
The whole package rolls on 16-inch alloy wheels dressed in all-terrain tires and Lotus has set prices ranging between $53,500 to $65,000 depending on the layout you choose.
”Rest assured, this van will shape, and shake, the future of the luxury off-road caravan industry,” Lotus says. “The Tremor is your ticket to the carefree lifestyle you’ve always dreamed of.”
As long as it keeps the scorpions, brown snakes and baby-eating dingos out.
