Norway’s Hareide Design is known for their work across a variety of industries, but their most intriguing efforts may come in the maritime field. They have designed a concept mega yacht that aims to create “a platform for actively experiencing the beauty of nature and the changing elements.”

This 354-foot (109-meter) yacht boasts a 65-foot (20-meter) pool and “a seamless transition to the water at the stern”, all designed to encourage you to enjoy its outdoor space every bit as much as the indoor.

The yacht design seeks to minimize its environmental impact, with 300 square meters of high-efficiency solar panels charging banks of lithium-ion batteries to provide “sustainable energy and enough power for slow cruising along quiet shorelines.” (It also offers the option of diesel-electric propulsion, should you want to speed things up a bit.)

And should you need to get away from your mega yacht completely, there’s a helipad to allow you an easy way to depart and return.
