Because the interwebs are crammed full of crazy things, and sometimes the purpose of those things is not immediately discernible, we present WTF Is It?
WTF is it?
The Tinger Track S500 is an all-terrain vehicle in the truest sense of the name. Unlike its peers, the Tinger is not restricted to land and can actually float thanks to its waterproof body.
What’s it do?
Thanks to its 20-inch armored tracks, the powerful ATV can drive on almost any surface. Made of a special wear-resistant composite material, the tracks won’t stretch and are hard to damage.
You mentioned floating on water …
The Tinger’s waterproof body is made from a low-pressure polyethylene material that’s extremely lightweight and designed to easily descend into water. Powered by a four-cylinder engine that will start in all weather conditions, the four-wheeler is made to get slippery and wet.
So it can handle rain. What about snow?
The Tinger’s engine is resistant to frost and, thanks to the unique properties of its body, the ATV can supposedly handle temperatures as low as -150° and as high as 400°.
Who makes it?
A Russian company that made its first product about a decade back. Their motto is “Love what you do and do what you love,” so apparently they love building ATVs for the end of days.
Is it in any way useful?
The manufacturer believes the Tinger can replace traditional tractors or snow plows. The ergonomic seats are designed for long journeys.
How much is this thing?
You’ll have to go to a dealership to find out. The closest one appears to be in Germany.
Well. That’s not happening. Got anything to convince me?
