When you give your company a name like Confederate Motorcycles, making friends clearly isn’t your calling card.

But Chambers was never out to make friends. He was out to make stellar motorcycles.

Established to “evoke rebellion” against what Chambers once called a rash of “complacency in the motorcycle industry,” the Alabama-by-way-of-New-Orleans-based company prides itself on making built-to-last bikes without compromising passion, intensity, time or money.

One of the marque’s most storied bikes, a 2008 Confederate Wraith B210, is going up for auction on January 26th.

Powered by a  45-degree V-twin engine and a five-speed gearbox, the carbon-fiber, 125-HP Wraith B210 was intended to be “the world’s most luxurious, sporting two-wheeled device.” Similar to a Wraith that was used to set a new speed record for its class at the Bonneville Salt Flats by reaching a speed of 166.459 MPH, this particular bike is one of fewer than 100 Wraiths that were built during the model’s production run from 2007-09.

Expected to net upwards of $70,000 on the block, the Wraith B210 is a true American beauty.
