Happiness, they say, can’t be bought.

Obviously they never saw this Porsche.

A 911 E from 1973, it’s one of the last long-hood models Porshe designed, and it’s beautiful inside and out thanks to an air-cooled flat-six engine and five-speed gearbox. Blessed with a removable top to give its owner options, the car — which gets its letter designation from the German word for injection (einspritzung) thank to the car’s Bosch mechanical fuel injection system — is painted in its original color but equips a modern A/C unit.

The recently restored model also features four-wheel disc brakes, aluminum alloy wheels, leather seats, MacPherson struts, its original tool kit and an optional S spoiler. Classic Motors hasn’t revealed a price for this ray of sunshine, but it’s safe to say we’d pay it.

You can’t put a price on happiness.
